A self-taught photographer.

My father exposed me to photography at a very young age with a Kodak 110 camera.
Though, the years, I have had many cameras and many adventures taking
photographs.

In the late 1990's I was using a Minolta 7000 film camera and shooting my way
around Santa Cruz County.  By, 2002, I moved to my first digital compact camera,
Olympus C-2000.

It was amazing what a tiny little 2.1 megapixel camera could do.  As prices came
down, I moved to a Nikon D70s.  This became my favorite camera that I even
purchased another one as a backup camera for events and weddings.

My current camera is a Nikon D300s and it is still a workhorse camera.

Today, I am mostly out whale watching and doing a handful of community service events.
